Magic Johnson and other Dodgers owners purchase the Sparks

Mark Walter, Johnson and other members of the Guggenheim Partners group that owns the Dodgers buy the Sparks from Williams Group Holdings, which had been losing money on the WNBA franchise.The Sparks have been sold to an investment group led by Lakers legend Magic Johnson and Dodgers controlling owner Mark Walter, chief executive of Guggenheim Partners, a Chicago-based financial services company.
